We tested a similar system of Energizer wireless charging, and found to be reliable and convenient. It uses the same wireless standard that this unit of Hitachi Maxell, called Qi (pronounced “chee”), already adopted by 72 companies, covering almost all the big names in consumer electronics as well, except for Apple.
Hitachi Maxell offers a single option beyond the Energizer charger we tested last month, which will be a charging station with two places to carry two separate devices at the same time, or a unit smaller and cheaper than the rates a single device. However, no extra port that the Energizer USB for mobile phones and other music players, for now, remain without sleeves.
