Facebook CEO: Mark Zuckerberg Accepts the Islam Known As Mark Abu-bakar

Here is the one latest and interesting breaking news arrive from the unofficial source that facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has accepted the Islam and would be known as Mark Abu-bakar. He was thinking to accept the ISLAM from many days and finally he made the decision to accept islam and become true muslim after the announcement from Facebook team that Facebook will be closing on October 2nd to support the World Farm Animal Day.

I’ve been wanting to convert since a very long time. Yesterday, when we finally decided to shut down Facebook for 24 hours in October, i took some time out to think about what actually defines my life. I came to the conclusion that if there’s no Facebook, there’s no Mark Zuckerberg. That’s when it hit me. I was lucky that someone on Facebook had a web app for online conversion, so i went forward with it. Yes, its true. The app also posted a notification on my wall, you can check it out. Mark Abu Bakar is now concentrates more on facebook for positive outcomes and confused about facebook whether to shut down the facebook or shift its headquarter to Afghanistan. Now there would not be any anti islam page on facebook which is very good news for all muslim community.

Spammers Can “Use Facebook as Page” to Like-Spam Posts and Comments

Facebook recently launched a “Use Facebook as Page” feature for Page administrators that allows them to assume the identity of their Page so they can Like, post, and comment around the site. However, this has enabled a new spamming technique, whereby Pages can Like the posts or comments of other users and Pages to create links back to themselves.

Since there is no option to remove Likes or ban those who Like any Facebook feed item, a victim can’t delete the links, and their only option is to report the Page as spam and wait for Facebook to address the issue. Like spam has not become a significant issue yet, but holds an opportunity for malicious parties until Facebook creates a solution.

Facebook has introduced several new wall post and comment  spam prevention systems lately, automatically hiding posts containing suspicious links and turning suspicious comments gray to alert admins. Like-spam via Pages, though, only recently became possible, and therefore Facebook may not have recognized the risk.


Until the launch of Use Facebook as Page as part of the February 2011 Page redesign, only users could post and comment on the walls of other Pages, and they could be removed and banned from Pages. There is no option for an admin of a Page to ban another Page for Like-spam. The ban option only becomes available if the malicious Page posts or comments.

We’ve heard a few reports of Like spam, particularly by Pages whose name hocks a service, such as “We Fix Slow Computers”, even though this form of Like-spam has only been available for two months. Facebook needs to provide Page admins a way to ban other Pages from Liking content on their wall before it becomes a more popular method of driving traffic to spammy Pages.

Facebook Photos Help to Incriminate Bigamist

any would-be bigamists who may be reading this: If you’re posting photos of your second wedding to Facebook, you might want to make sure your first wife can’t see them.

That’s precisely what Richard Barton Jr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, did; he’s now out of jail, perhaps but briefly, on a personal recognizance bond.

Barton, 34, had been estranged from his first wife, Adina Quarto, for a period of several years. The couple, who have a six-year-old son, had discussed getting a divorce in the past, but neither party followed through on those discussions.

As Quarto told The Grand Rapids Press, “He told me he just wanted to ignore the situation and pretend I didn’t exist.”

Barton had also become engaged in 2010 to a woman who thought he was divorced; shortly after that, he unfriended his first wife on Facebook and married the other woman, posting wedding photos to his Facebook profile.

Unfortunately for Barton, he never adjusted the privacy settings on those photos to disallow viewing by his first wife. Although she and Barton were no longer Facebook friends, Quarto was able to see pictures of what appeared to be a beach wedding.

 After a few months and still none of the promised divorce papers in the mail, Quarto did the only thing she could do: She called the police. Barton was arrested Wednesday.

We know that Facebook photos have recently been providing some pretty damning evidence in divorce cases, but this latest misstep takes Facebook faux pas to an entirely new level.

Exclusive: Facebook Co-Founder Eduardo Saverin Leads $6.5M Round For Jumio

Jumio is still gearing up for the launch of its online and mobile payments solution, due for release in 6 to 8 weeks, but the company has lined up an investor that is sure to draw even more attention to the stealth startup than the recent appointment of Google, Amazon and NASA vets to its board of directors.
Eduardo Saverin, who will forever be remembered as the co-founder of Facebook, has taken the lead in the startup’s fresh round of financing. We’ve exclusively learned that Saverin put up more than half of the round, which totals $6.5 million, alongside other private investors.
The 28-year-old Brazilian-American entrepreneur will also be joining Jumio’s board of directors.

Saverin, who currently spends most of his time in Singapore, will become actively involved in Jumio’s roll-out into the Asian market. Says Saverin: “I’m usually a critical person, but the last time I have seen such a disruptive idea was actually Facebook”. Quite the endorsement indeed.
Saverin, who is a billionaire thanks to his stake in Facebook, also led the recent investment in TC Disrupt winner Qwiki.
His investment, and even more so his active operational involvement in the young company, makes me anxious to learn what Jumio is building, exactly.
Jumio was co-founded by Daniel Mattes, who sold his latest company, Jajah, to Telefonica for $207 million. Mattes is called the “Bill Gates of the Alps” in some parts.
Worth noting: Jumio chose an unorthodox way of financing. Instead of raising a regular Series A round with an institutional VC, the company has established a so-called SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company), a collective investment scheme that allows public stock market investors to invest in PE-type transactions, particularly leveraged buyouts.
A participation in Jumio was placed privately to ‘Ultra High Net Worth Individuals’ (also called Ultra HNWIs) in the form of a private placement. The use of SPAC is rare amongst startups, but has become popular lately as a result of Facebook’s funding deal with Goldman Sachs.
“The advantages are obvious,” says Daniel Mattes. “There is a lot of interest from high net worth individuals to participate in start-up success stories like Facebook, Twitter, Zynga or Groupon. We offered the market such an opportunity and it was received extremely well to the extent that we were over-subscribed.”

Facebook adds the easily tag Other comments

Facebook has expanded its role @ Mentions, now let the friends of the tabs, pages, events or groups within the comments, so your name can click on the links through a simple menu. Try it. Start a comment on Facebook, type the symbol "@" and type the first letter of a friend or a group name, a menu and create a link for easy navigation to the friend or the group's page. When you mention and link to someone like that, it notifies the person who did it.
