Western Digital’s new My Book Studio Edition II has 6TB on offer, but no Thunderbolt or USB 3.0
If you want a great part of the EGB in not much space, 3 TB per disc is as good as you will get. Western Digital has set two of his monsters of three terabytes in a double-disc box and connected with eSATA and FireWire 800 to create the My Book Studio Edition II. There is a good 'ol hole USB 2.0 in there too, but not USB 3.0 or ray for those getting hip with new connections. Time Machine support baked in, and your choice of RAID configurations, all at a cost of $ 549.99. That's pretty much what would happen if you bought a pair of discs and an empty box, but that's the price of convenience.
