Senators want to remove PhantomALERT app
Senators Reid, Schumer, Udall and Lautenberg have a mission on their hands – they are hoping for Apple to remove PhantomALERT, one of the more popular red light camera apps that will offer drivers audio alerts in order for them to slow down considerably – which in turn will also avoid receiving “calling cards” from the traffic cops. Their main beef with this app? It offers DUI (Driving Under Influence) checkpoints, but indirectly, they have also helped make our roads safer simply because the risk of getting a ticket isn’t worth putting the pedal to the metal. The senators mentioned apparently want the app to be removed, and let the long arm of the law run its due course. Who do you think will win?
